We study the balance between sitting in silence before the Lord and His Word, with serving Him. Martha is found busy preparing a meal, comparing herself and service to her sister, Mary. Martha accuses Jesus of not caring that Mary is wrong to “waste” her time being with Christ. Jesus corrects her and reminds all of us that to be with Jesus is the Good Thing that will last.
